Well & Sewage

Procedure for Acquiring Well & Sewage Permits in Carroll County

Please call our Environmental Department at (330) 627-8022 for information on obtaining a sewage permit.  This website is currently being updated to reflect the new rules that recently went into effect, and this information will be available online shortly.

Well permits  should be pulled by a well driller. A well permit is valid for one year. Approval of your well permit requires the following items before the permit expires:

  • A well log (submitted by well driller)

  • A pump completion form (submitted by well driller or home owner)

  • The home owner must schedule an appointment with a sanitarian to take a water sample. The first sample is free to the home owner. Any additional samples needed for approval are at the expense of the home owner.
