Internet Use Instructions

This website contains real estate information from 1990 to present. Real estate documents prior to 1990 can be found only in the Recorder’s Office.

Documents are indexed under a tract indexing system.  We assign an instrument number to every document that is recorded.  Each instrument is also assigned a volume and page number.  This is done so each page in an instrument is accounted for.

You may search documents by using a name, volume/page and instrument number.  The index is forward and reverse. (i.e.) -

1. If you are searching for your mortgage, you may search for the mortgagor or mortgagee.

2. If you are searching for a deed, you may search for the grantor or grantee.

The most common search is a name search.  Simply type the name of the person or entities you are searching, last name first, first name and middle initial and click the search button. If you are searching a business, type the full name of the business.
